Bridging the Gap – Autism Consultation

Play with a Purpose: Social Groups at BTG

Small, supportive groups designed to build connection, confidence, and meaningful social skills through structured, purposeful play.

At Bridging the Gap (BTG), our Social Groups are designed to foster connection, communication, and confidence through structured, play-based activities rooted in occupational therapy principles. These groups are not traditional therapy sessions, nor are they unstructured playdates. Instead, they’re carefully facilitated opportunities for neurodivergent children and teens to build meaningful peer relationships while developing important social-emotional, sensory, and executive functioning skills.

Developing social skills through our "Play with a Purpose" program

Benefits of BTG's Social Groups

Give your child the chance to explore, connect, and grow within a community that celebrates their unique strengths. Join one of our social groups today and experience the transformative power of purposeful play.

We have programs for both Children and Teens

Our play-based approach goes beyond fun, integrating sensory regulation techniques that promote focus, emotional resilience, and body awareness. Whether it’s swinging, obstacle courses, or crafting, every activity is intentionally designed to foster meaningful development.

Opportunities to practice turn-taking, conversation skills, regulation strategies, and cooperative play
